We made a documentary about SV Niniwahuni, a Westsail 43 monohull that left to cross the Pacific Ocean a few weeks ahead of us, but their mast came crashing down on top of them 950 nautical miles off the coast of Mexico. A cargo ship came and rescued @shawnajane and their 3 young children, but @lifeinthecruz decided to stay with the boat in the middle of nowhere, and try get it back to Mexico, with no autopilot or enough fuel, but sheer determination to save their family home.
